About goCPG
goCPG supports consumer packaged goods brands by providing tools, resources, and insights that help companies bring products to market and scale their growth.
The challenge
Many consumer packaged goods brands rely on fragmented market data and informal launch tracking, making it difficult to consistently evaluate performance and learn from past experiences. goCPG sought to create a structured approach that would help brands make more informed decisions throughout the launch process.
Approach
- Identified and evaluated datasets relevant to product launches
- Designed a wireframe mapping the end-to-end launch journey
- Developed a minimum viable product (MVP) platform for brand onboarding and data tracking
- Created a guided, stage-based process for capturing launch metrics and insights
- Established a framework for building a growing dataset of launch outcomes and learnings
Results
- Delivered a dataset framework to support launch analysis and decision-making
- Developed an MVP platform that guides brands through the launch process
- Enabled structured tracking of key performance metrics and business insights
- Created a foundation for capturing and analyzing launch data across multiple brands
- Established a scalable platform to support future development and advanced analytics
Why it matters
This project helps consumer packaged goods brands move from intuition-based decisions to more structured, data-informed planning. The platform supports:
- More consistent and repeatable product launch processes
- Better visibility into launch performance and outcomes
- Continuous learning from real-world market experiences
- Future development of advanced analytics and decision-support tools
