About the project
Led by Conestoga, this research explored how post-secondary institutions address human trafficking awareness and prevention among international students. The study examined institutional resources, outreach efforts and existing supports to better understand current approaches and identify opportunities for improvement.
The challenge
International students may face unique vulnerabilities related to isolation, financial pressures and limited awareness of available supports. The project sought to better understand how institutions communicate risks, provide resources and coordinate prevention efforts.

- Examined approaches used by Conestoga, Wilfrid Laurier University and the University of Waterloo
