Developing an AI chatbot to support customer inquiries and quotations for Belco Doors

This project focused on developing a prototype AI chatbot for Belco Doors’ redesigned website. The goal was to help customers quickly access information about Belco’s elevator door products and streamline the quotation process, which previously required extensive back-and-forth with company staff due to the detailed specifications involved.
The prototype chatbot guides users through a structured quotation process, allowing them to enter project details and receive an initial estimate. It also provides clear answers to common questions about product features and regulatory requirements. An accompanying admin portal enables Belco staff to update product information, pricing inputs, and quotation forms as new products are introduced.
Belco plans to continue refining the chatbot as part of its new website rollout. Future development will focus on integrating the tool into the company’s broader digital systems to further improve customer experience and support more efficient product and project planning.
