About Vortex

Vortex develops intelligent energy management technologies that help organizations monitor, optimize, and control energy storage and charging systems.

The challenge

Vortex sought to enhance its intelligent battery management system (iBMS) with new automation capabilities and improved interoperability, enabling more efficient energy management and better integration with external systems.

Approach

  • Developed automated charger control functionality
  • Implemented a cost-aware charging scheduler to support energy planning
  • Created tools to support energy storage optimization and operational analysis
  • Enhanced system interoperability through secure third-party integration capabilities
