Aleeza Malik holds a master's degree in applied health sciences, specializing in epidemiology and biostatistics, from Brock University. Her research is driven by a passion for improving health outcomes through data-driven approaches.

Her thesis focused on enhancing lung cancer risk prediction by integrating novel predictors and comparing machine learning techniques, such as random forest, with traditional logistic regression to improve the identification of high-risk individuals for lung cancer screening. 

Driven by a commitment to wellness, equity, and innovation, Aleeza is eager to contribute to CISWP’s mission of fostering safer and more inclusive workplaces.
