Rohini Arora, PhD, is a professor and program coordinator for virtualization and cloud computing, IT infrastructure programs in the School of Applied Computer Science & IT at Conestoga College.  Rohini has been in the higher education sector from more than two decades and served roles as head of the department, member board of studies. She also holds seven years of industry experience as a business analyst.  She holds PhD in computer science with a specialization in optimization techniques and quality analytics. Her area of expertise also includes image classification, machine learning, cloud computing, and sysops administration.  

Research interests: Data analytics, public health safety, IT resource optimization, machine learning, decision support systems.
