Eddy Madou has a research background in biomechanics and injury rehabilitation, focusing on force production, loading, and joint motion in the lower limb. His work emphasizes translating and integrating these insights into practical applications, enhancing understanding of movement mechanics and informing strategies for injury prevention and rehabilitation.
Previously, as a Registered Kinesiologist, Eddy has worked towards the rehabilitation and prevention of workplace injuries. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, he has focused on enhancing functional capacity, preventing re-injury, and empowering individuals to manage their recovery for a sustainable return to work by providing tailored exercise interventions, education, and evidence-based strategies.
Eddy holds a bachelor’s in kinesiology, psychology minor, (University of Waterloo, Canada) and a master’s in sport and exercise science (University of Roehampton, UK), specializing in biomechanics and injury prevention.
