Junior researcher

Gracie Groulx is a junior researcher at the Canadian Institute for Safety, Wellness & Performance.

She holds a bachelor of physical education from Brock University, where she developed a deep interest in human movement and occupational health. 

She later pursued postgraduate studies in advanced ergonomics at Fanshawe College, gaining specialized knowledge in ergonomic assessment methodologies and intervention strategies.

Gracie’s experience includes her time at Labatt Brewery, where she focused on conducting ergonomic risk assessments and implementing feasible, practical solutions to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal disorders in industrial settings.

Her work emphasized translating research into actionable workplace improvements, enhancing both safety and performance.

She is driven to turn research into action, designing safer, healthier workplaces through evidence-based strategies.
