Kristen Bolliger
Manager of Operations
Kristen Bolliger is the manager of Operations for the Canadian Institute for Safety, Wellness & Performance.
She creates operational efficiencies, oversees resources, and provides managerial support for the research team, while integrating her passion for health and wellness.
Kristen completed her bachelor of applied health sciences in athletic therapy at Sheridan College.
She then earned a master of science in athletic training at Ohio University, focusing on concussion management in collegiate athletes.
She began her career as a certified athletic therapist in collegiate athletics, where she focused on preventative care and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
After several years, Kristen transitioned to higher education administration and completed a doctor of education in higher education at Western University.
Her dissertation-in-practice examined the gender inequity that exists in collegiate recreation facilities across Canada, highlighting system-wide approaches to encourage gender equity in sport and fitness.
