Ramzy is the SMART Centre’s operations supervisor. He plays an important role in maintaining the facility's efficiency and ensuring a pristine and secure lab environment. His responsibilities extend to supervising and training students, overseeing the installation, operation, and maintenance of laboratory research equipment and infrastructure.

In 2019, he earned his advanced diploma in electromechanical engineering, and he holds the certified engineering technologist designation from the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists. With a wealth of experience, Ramzy has accumulated over six years of expertise in executing and leading research projects.
