Steve Golds is a technologist at the Institute of Food Processing Technology.  He is an electrician and journeyman millwright by trade.  

He has 20 years of experience in maintenance, construction, and fabrication experience in the food processing industry.  Steve has set up various food plants and breweries as a contractor.  

Steve completed the advanced millwright program at George Brown college, UBC journeyman leadership/supervisor training and Babcock and Wilcox welding and blueprint reading. 

Research interests: machine maintenance, production line optimization, precision machining, latest technology and tooling on all aspects of machinery.
