Developing a non-invasive cervical cancer screening technology for CELLECT Laboratories

CELLECT Laboratories partnered with Conestoga’s SMART Centre to conceptualize and design a non-invasive technology for collecting cells from menstrual blood for cervical cancer screening. The project combined CELLECT’s nanotechnology with the SMART Centre’s prototyping expertise to develop a functional screening device.

Improving soil health through regenerative gardening at Conestoga

Conestoga’s Biotechnology Research & Innovation Hub (BioHub) examined soil conditions in the Cambridge campus community garden to better understand challenges affecting plant growth and long-term productivity. The project used seasonal soil analysis to develop evidence-based regenerative gardening practices tailored to the site.

Biofect Innovations required support to validate the performance of its proprietary sweetener and generate the technical data needed to support consistent application and commercialization.
