Software that calculates sustainability metrics

Working with The Owl, the Centre for Supply Chain Innovation developed a software application that helps automate and simplify the calculation of sustainability metrics on post- or pre-shipments as carbon footprint or plastic pollution. With a specific focus in SME, sustainability frameworks are now more accessible in their daily decision-making processes. The goal was to identify metrics that can be calculated with existing data in companies’ IT systems like ERPs that can be leveraged by the software, reducing the developing effort involved in the creation of sustainability metrics, while at the same time creating visibility of improvement opportunities due to the continuous monitoring of the information.
