This interdisciplinary Experience Ventures opportunity allows you to take on a defined role within a collaborative team, working alongside innovative startups and social ventures. You will build practical skills, receive mentorship from venture leaders, and strengthen your portfolio while making a real impact. 

Program highlights: 

  • 80-hour placement

Playmove — interdisciplinary learning platform: market expansion research

Project overview

Playmove is a Canadian EdTech company developing active learning solutions for schools and communities. As part of an interdisciplinary team spanning business, marketing, social media, pedagogy, and software engineering, students will explore how their respective disciplines can contribute to Playmove’s market expansion goals.

Each student will research their area of focus, develop a discipline-specific deliverable, and collaborate with the team to integrate their work into the project’s broader findings and recommendations.

This opportunity is ideal for students interested in applying their skills to a real-world EdTech challenge while gaining experience working collaboratively across disciplines.

Klosa Technologies — Canada launch: community and partnership growth

Project overview

Klosa Technologies is a fintech startup preparing to launch in Canada by building community-driven partnerships with Ghanaian associations, churches, and organizations across the country.

As part of a two-student interdisciplinary team, one student will focus on partnership outreach and relationship development, while the other will focus on social media content and end-user marketing and engagement. The two roles will work together to support Klosa Technologies’ Canadian market entry and community growth efforts.

This opportunity is ideal for students in marketing, business development, communications, or related fields who are interested in community engagement, partnership development, and startup growth.
