In 2024, Conestoga ranked as one of the top 20 research colleges in Canada by engaging with 175 industry and community partners, 177 active projects, and hiring 251 students.

Symposium puts Conestoga research and scholarship in the spotlight
More than 150 employees across the college recently gathered at the Conestoga Skilled Trades Campus for the second annual Research & Scholarship Symposium. The event provided an opportunity for faculty and staff to showcase and celebrate their research and scholarship activities, with opportunities for learning and collaboration through keynotes, panel discussions, project spotlights and poster sessions. Conestoga part of $47.5 million investment from FedDev
As part of a $47.5 million investment from the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario, Waterloo's Communitech, in partnership with Conestoga College, will continue to offer regionally tailored programming for entrepreneurs to help their businesses succeed locally and globally through the Scale-Up Platform program. New program gives students work-learning placements to explore entrepreneurship
The Conestoga Entrepreneurship Collective is launching a new initiative called Experience Ventures, which creates impactful work-integrated learning opportunities by enabling post-secondary students to collaborate with real-world innovators through entrepreneurial thinking placements. Through this program, funded in part by the Government of Canada and powered by the University of Calgary, 99 placements are currently available for Conestoga students. Read more
